Hi there, I'm Andy, a creative designer and art communicator residing in Hong Kong. Originally from Toronto, Canada, I've always had a passion for design and the arts. I like to think of myself as a "capricious creator", always adapting my style and approach to reflect my current mood and mindset.
As a kid, I was a bit of a rebel, and that love for rebellion and creative expression has stayed with me until now. I draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, including literature, nature, music, fashion, and social relationships. I'm not just interested in design and illustration; I'm interested in exploring the world around me and finding new ways to express my unique perspective.
I'm excited to share my artistic journey with you and invite you to explore my work. From my apartment in Hong Kong, I'm constantly creating and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Thanks for stopping by and getting to know me a little better.
How is the crisis affecting my workday?
It has changed my outlook on all design related objects in the sense that I believe it’s time to create content that is more meaningful and conceptual. I think it’s the right time to rethink the design and retail system, develop new ways of presenting ideas and get rid of the old structures which don’t work anymore and don't feel contemporary anymore. I think the online world will play a huge role provided it offers new experiences and approaches that are complementary to the physical world. I wish HK will be able to give designs more value with respect.
